haha. i cleared all my modules this semester!
seems like it is by a fluke, but whatever.
im gna work more consistently next semester.

i flew to BKK just days ago!

great shopping spree. haha
ke ziah brought us all around!
ohoo. stayed at her place!
her family was very generous to us! even invited us to here and there! heh
& invited us to come next year too! \o/

although ive bought some accessories with the intention of giving them away,
after unpacking, i thought i shld just keep them for myself.
gahhh. so in the end, i didnt get much for my few other friends. sheeesh.

nvm, next year, i shall do more logical shopping.

when things go too smoothly, i start to worry.
yep. for once, i am ahead of the study plan which ive made.
that's pretty ominous.

im finally seeing the end of projects.
haha.
& the start of cramming period >.<''
projects were horrendous, cnt complain about group mates cos the choice was ours to make.
haha.
at least, we met the deadlines.
mm.
DC is the most memorable. hahaha.
cy, l ouis a & i stayed all night in front of cy's mega huge pc screen,
editing, cutting words, adding words, formatting
on the day before the actual due date ><"
we made a serious miscalculation, thinking that editing would be done in mere hours.
from dinner, to supper to aiming to catch the last train home, till to catching the first train home T.T
then, calling zq, kez to check the relevance of various parts, to find out their progress etc.
we weren't the only ones staying up. haha
DC was definitely an eye opener o.O

ohwell. kinda sad to find out that no dam e can t abil e is gna end soon.
in just one chapter.
i want more chi a ki & n o dame!!
at least there are the movie sequels!
woohooo~

i should hurry and go make some birthday cards.
if i procrastinate any longer, the cards will be just in time for their next birthdays.

we had these expensive cakes @ Pa tisserie Gl ace, the only shop that looks alive there.

then we travelled to bugis to look for another korean mart.

heh! went to the summer festival yesterday, with A.
there was already a long queue, extending outside the premises when we gt there!
haha. luckily, the queue moved along quite smoothly & quickly.
thumbs up for crowd control!
then we saw L & her friend! haha. who were somewhere behind us in the queue. hahha

along with the programme for the day, we were given japanese fans! haha.
which proved to be of great use. cos it was really warm that afternoon! XDD
we went crazy buying alot of food when we finally gt admitted! haha.
both A & i were starving! gah.
then we found a nice seating area, with a good view of the stage,
then L & her friend joined us :D
A & i went to buy ASAHI beer! yay! my first japanese beer!
the japanese guy at the end of the queue, holding the sign which say "end of queue'' or smth, is rather cute! *_*
heh!
the programme lined up was pretty good. with the traditional japanese drums and all.
A went up to the stage area, snapping away. while i was fervently fanning myself, and drinking beer.
then we had a football performance, by the japanese team, which was quite hilarious. hahha

ooh! loved the ending bon-oduri dances! everyone gets to join in at the field, around the stage!
haha. reminds me of the guides' campfires. haha. so fun! other than being frequently off the beat and such.
anyway, i think there are more locals than japanese la. haha

saw many pretty yukatas! and a pretty boy! *swoons*
A was busy snapping away at cute kids in yukatas too. hahaha

well, too bad we didnt manage to get the meiji icecream cone & the red bean pancake.
T.T

after a day of excitement, it is back to reality ><"

wanted to say, complete the freaking essay. but that is kinda ambitious. zZzz.

just turned on the table lamp. & it has attracted some dumb flies T.T

looking forward to friday. my lil cousin is coming over to play.

well, why not update? haha

one fine saturday morning, the bus, which i was on, stopped at a traffic light juncture.
then, another double decker bus gradually pulled up next to mine.
!! & i saw a familiar face! haha.
wayne saw me too!
so hilarious!
then we were making gestures to find out where each other was heading to.
i showed him the cover page of my notes, with the sim logo,
he drew my attention towards the uniform that he was wearing.
after that, as the buses moved on, we waved goodbye. hahaha
well, that was the highlight of that day! so unexpected!

gta get back to my assignment. gah!
its coming to a standstill. ><"

yesterday was a pretty nice day out in dhoby.
C decided to skip the movie -.-
so V & N & i watched HARRY POT together. heh!
movie was alright albeit too little action.
cried because dumbledore died ;________;

lunched at astons, C supposed to join us,
but then as guessed, we met later, much later @fareast.
hahaha. looked around, browsed around. went off empty-handed to ION.
oOh! hugeeeee! spacious!
after a long escalator upwards, N &i were still at B1, much to my surprise! hahaha. ohwells
we just browsed a couple of levels, cos i needed to be at somewhere else.
well, we should probably return to take a better look at all the atas brands. haha

i travelled to thomson for steamboat with some new friends.
gah. eerrr. i didnt manage to make much conversation with anyone,
i wasnt in the talkative mood to crap alot. haha.
i was scouring for topics, while peeling prawns and wondering what else to keep myself occupied.
so it was kinda awkward T.T
zZzz. better luck next time, i hope.
then we dawdled around at this ice cream place.
some left for late night entertainment at kbox? then others, me included, went homewards.
hahaha. just a day out, and i blew my budget.

ehhh. im cheering myself up by deleting files. heh!
i love doing that! plus hiding all the other people on fb's news feed. hahaha!
i also love dumping stuff. unwanted, of course, & hopefully wont be of use.

ive dawdled close to 3 hours already ;__________;
& its the weekends tml, my weekends somehow end up unproductive.

might as well do an update. haha.

im suddenly out of job T.T
to think i was making plans for all the money i thought i would have T.T
gah. life is unpredictable. haha
well, i will miss making friends with all the ppl at work.
just when i thought i was finally making some friends, then poof!
&i was happily thinking that i would not need to be stuck at home on weekends. pffft.

the last week was pretty enjoyable.
had curry chicken with Chong & two new friends for lunch. haha. yum yum! we still hadnt try the recommended you tiao!
well, Chong & i were thinking that we would have another enjoyable weekend at work this week T.T

thursday! day out with Ning! haha. walked around the city hall area. & i actually have a direct bus to suntec! exciting! lunched out @fountain of wealth. should have walked anticlockwise ard the fountain, to pray that wealth will befall onto me T.T
that reminds me! i saw a couple of my new friends at citylink! haha

had a pretty good lunch last tuesday. that was my last lunch at work, not that i know it until late afternoon that day. gah
i didnt even have time to bid goodbye to all my new friends ;______________;

i spent my last few days of holi, sulking about ends not meeting ><; hence im in a pretty bad mood. pfft.
no good vibes about the upcoming sem.___________.
nevertheless, im hoping that i score at least Distinctions in all 4 mods. well, better still, get some HDs!
gahh. hoping for some good project mates. at this point, i start to dread T.T

all that ive been ranting about seems pretty trivial as compared to what i see on tv.
that really puts alot of things into perspective.

i saw wayne! haha. think he was gg to some physiotherapy?
he was ushered up the escalator before i could call out to him. then, when he looked back down, from the escalator, i was waving frantically to him! well, at least it got his attention, then he took a while to recognise me, after i pulled down my mask. hahaha

thats about the only highlight i can remember from my weeks at ttsh. the rest just flit by, and i barely registered them. hahaha

i was browsing through the course materials for the upcoming sem. there seems to be a lot to do T>T
zZz. im feeling the work is piling up already. im overwhelmed with the amount of material. gah

anyway, i shall briefly recap what happened in the last few days, while i still have some impressions of them.

on monday, i was doing the morning shift for the very first time. well, it seems as if that shift ends pretty much more quickly. haha
then, i had long john @ novena with C & her friend, Stanley. been quite a long while since i had it.
while lunching, we heard Hey! Mickey! wow! totally brings us way back to the sec sch days. waves of nostalgia.

i went home after a foc flu jab, tried to stay awake, before going out for ayam penyet with Zq, Kez & Jean in town.
then we watched P.S. I love you. nice tear-jerker movie. but the book is probably better, as the story slowly builds up the emotions & atmosphere etc. the story has to be adapted to fit within a time frame which kinda ruined the momentum.

i kinda forgot what happened over the weekend, other than i missed the telecast of finding nemo on ch5.

im sorry that N & i didnt make it for the one-for-one swensen's deal. gah.
suddenly, im craving for a feast, to plunge my teeth into some meat. >.<"

yesterday was my first off-day after working consecutively for uh. 5days?
i enjoyed watching Triple! great drama. cute& charming characters.
i kinda love all of them. rarely skipped any parts.
im eagerly waiting for more.

whatelse, wanted to watch the new kdrama, The Man Who Can't Get Married.
whilst i was streaming it, i browsed through some of the comments, & got to know that, it was kinda adapted from a jdrama, Kekkon Dekinai Otoko?
well, the viewers were griping that the k.version totally lifted wholesale from the jap one. so i decided to watch the jap one first. haha.
ive only watched the first episode though then, it was about 3plus in the afternoon already.
& so, i succumbed to the lure of my bed.

yawns, work tml again. gna do the last sprint for money before sem starts.

when i got home & saw that my brotha was sprawled across the sofa, watching some chinese drama,
i couldnt resist making a dig at him.
haha. in the end, even i was implicated.
i cant even watch tv without incurring someone's wrath.

im relieved that i will not be home tml. woohoo.

haha. anyway, i wanted to watch kdrama, Triple.
zZz. however, the videos are simply not loading.
so i think i will just go to bed.
other than, watching dramas on the comp, there arent many things that i want to do.

ohoho. spent my sunday in ttsh.
was trying to avoid to serve the counter. but then, things dont often go your way.
so i ended up behind the counter.

anw, i gt myself pretty nervous. zZz. then i begged han siang to help by my side. haha.
in the end, i think my brain pretty much stopped functioning, & relied solely on his instructions.
he;s pretty calm, doubt anything will ruffle his feathers. haha

haha. lunched with 2 other ppl, sumaiyah & afiq, the encounters they shared are darn hilarious!
just look at the funny ppl one can encounter in a day of work. hahha
anw, sumaiyah & i were pretty hyped to use the newly-attained kopitiam card & enjoy some fantastic discounts.
however, things dont often go your way, the activation counter is closed on sundays T.T
haha. but my nice co-worker lent us his card. so that we can still enjoy discounts!
woohoo! hurrays to discounts.

well. back to b2. desperately trying to look occupied with work at the other stations. haha
tactic worked! i either ushered visitors or stared at the thermal scanner screen. haha
then tried my best to work up a conversation with ppl nearby. ie. zhi xiong? zZz.

yep. im putting down names so that i can rmb them. hahaha

then when the clock struck 8, we tried to ka pok some snacks home. hahaha!

ooh! then i decided to drop by amk hub. to look at some shoes. new shops are there. ahaha
then i saw my aj classmates! surprise surprise. at least i knw that they were my classmates, leon & marcus.
we talked abit more.

then i rushed home just in time to see my lil cousin who dropped by.
he was alrd on his way out, then he showed off the tooth that was chipped frm a fall. haha. cute kiddo!
that is, cuteness only in small doses. haha
mm., im waiting for my yoghurt to freeze.

well, at least it brings in some money. & i dont hafta mope ard at home.

cheers! i scored pretty well for last sem exams.
im hoping that next sem will be smooth-sailing, amid all those up-coming projects.
*shudders*
last sem was pretty slack without all those projects.
haha. good things rarely last.

counting down: 2 weeks.

i met up with zhiyu, cindy & sihui last thurs, i suppose. haha
went to tampines. dinner'd @manpuku. well, food's ex. definitely not within my budget.
listened to cindy talk about her activities in dragonboat. so exciting.
& sihui abt her trip to usa! i envy her shopping for cheap jeans there!
& zhiyu & delifrance! haha. now i know where to go meals! XDD

then last sat, lunch'd with zq, jean, kez & her parents. her mum treatd us to lunch!
@raffles city shokudo. the concept is pretty much similar to manpuku.
bt shokudo is probably a much better place to dine in. more choices, pretty spacious. the deco and layout are more friendly & accessible in a way. manpuku just looks veh messy to me.
haha. &also! shokudo is owned by an andersonian (if im not wrong)

argh. videos are loading annoying slowly now.

been hooked to hk dramas, but now i hv no dvds of them

haha. actually, the motivation to write abt tday, or rather, yesterday was extinguished.
ohwells. after gg thru the hassle of switching on the comp & waiting for it to load, yawns.

i went to my niece(?)'s bday 趴! (the way tw ppl say it?!, pretty high & hilarious to mimic) haha.
made a nice card, with colours and all. BUT i gt the name wrong T.T
jaclyn vs jace.
argh. did some last min rectification which turned out ugly.
gah. shld hv read more into the premonition i had when i drew the card T.T
anw, 趴地 was pretty exciting, for the kiddos,
since it was held in the children's playroom, there is entertainment in the form of uh indoor playgrd?
those with tunnels that go way up high, slides and ball pits. kid-size only.
so i was only able to sit out, and watch the kiddos have fun.
the food was pretty gd!!! yummmmyyy~ pity, i didnt go for 2nd rd. now, im thinking of the hk mee.
maybe i shall go dapao hk mee frm zi char tml night, or rather, tnight.

then it rained, as we walked out from the club. T,T heng, there was sheltered walkway all the way to the interchange.

gt home, a little while before the downpour. hahaha. it subsided then i went to Elaine's 21st bday 趴. haha
ooO! i hv a direct bus to another part of sg la. just 30mins.max.
great! i wont ever have the excuse that its too far out from my place anymre.

tho it was kinda awkward at the beginning. cos, nth to do, but stare and pretend to be interested in the tv, while feeling uncomfortable. hahahha.
K brought her super pro camera, with flashlight somemore, the light was super blinding T.T hahha
lucky, Z brought cards, mini ones! for entertainment, or rather, kping me occupied.
played simple, non-mind wrecking games, ie daidee, heart attack!

after much anticipation, we cut and ate the cake!

what a sum-up huh. hahah. aiyah. thats the point of the BDAY 趴 mah,
sing song, cut cake, eat cake
i was pretty high towards the end,
cos i started shooting my mouth off without thinking thru the words T,T

lucky, we left, in time for me and my neighbour, Sanjeev to catch the last bus home.
plus HA Lee & Joseph caught buses from the interchg, and led me back to somewhere i cld recognise.
im glad i didnt forget which side of the grass field the bus stop was.
Z, K & Simon, flagged down a cab, as we hiked back
haha.

eventful public holiday, normally i wld just mope ard at home with a sullen face.
